Centenary Campfire
On Saturday 10th December the Scout Groups of Knutsford District got together for their first campfire on Knutsford Heath to celebrate 100 years since Scouting was first established in Knutsford.
The highlight of the event, that was attended by the Town Mayor, Cllr Stewart Gardner, was the spectacular fire dance performance by Juggling Inferno.
The traditionally lively Scout campfire, led by Neil McAleece, kicked off with the Mayor joining in the “Muffin Man” and had young people and parents on their feet joining in throughout the evening.
Congratulations to 2nd Knutsford Cub Scout, Frank Wilson, who was invested by Martin Relton during the campfire.
Thanks to Roger, Nick, Neil and Lawrie for helping to make it happen.
